MG TD TF 1500 - wires on A1 terminal/control box

I have just installed a circuit breaker on the A1 wire to the headlamp switch. The shop manual shows 1 wire gonig to this terminal. I have a second wire at this location, what is it for, where does it go? Len

Len, you might want to take a second look at the wiring diagram. The brown/blue lead attached to terminal A1 of the Control Box goes to terminal A on the Lighting & Ignition Switch. You just put a circuit breaker in the ignition circuit. It could be awkward to have a lighting fault also kill the engine. Any other wire attached to A1 is some PO wiring. You'd be better off putting the breaker in the blue lead coming from terminal H of the switch. I think that the archive should have a fuse setup that Jim Merz designed for the rest of the lights.
