MG TD TF 1500 - Wanted Mg TD Service manual

Does anyone have a TD service manual for sale (52 TD)? Have a basket case that's crying out for re-building.
Slowly acquiring bits & pieces but will need manual soon.

Couple on the ebay site at the moment including Horst Sach's excellent book. (If you haven't used the site before just put MG TD into the find box )

Must admit though I've never had any luck myself. Have either been out bid at the last moment or the items have have gone up to a price greater than that from Moss.

You can get "The MG midget (Series TD and Series TF) Workshop Manual" from Moss, Abingdon Spares, Britbooks, NEMGTR, etc. and even our local "Atlanta Imported Auto Parts". This is the factory manual.

Go to www.atlantaimported.com and you can order it today.

They also have the Blower's Manual for all MG's up thru the TF

I have a 1965 workshop manual covering series:TC,TD,TF-1500,MGA & MGA-1600,MGA-1600 MKII (with special competition tuning)!
Manufacture years run between 1946 - 1963.

Also I have;
MG MIDGET (series 'TF') SERVICE PARTS LIST.
One 'TF' wire spoked quick release wheel in good condition. Rim size 19"* 2.75.
It is silver sprayed.

I am not an enthusiast but do enjoy these motors.
My late father rebuilt a 'TF' in the 80's. Sold it (unforunately) around 1985.
We have recently uncovered some history from the loft!
Could any one tell me how much they are worth.£

Hello Matt,

Your question re history and the value, is really a new thread, as this one deals with TF manuals.

Suggest you do a copy and pastefrom your above text into a new thread entitled "MG History - value??"

Regards,

Rockburn, Qué.

P.S. The 19" wheel you have is probably for a TA/TB?TC; alternatively, the TF wheel you have is a 15" one.

Thanks for your thoughts gc.

That was my first thread. I'll go along with your recomendation.
I have measured the wheel (Good idea!).
It is actually 16".
Perhaps K A Lewis is intrested in my MG items?

Just a note to say I have found a TD Manual.
Thanks to all the responders and "Happy MG'ing!"
