MG TD TF 1500 - TF bridging the gap

I took this picture last spring at a local MG gathering in front of the Oslo City Hall. As we were standing there a couple - tourists from an Arab country - approached me, and politely asked if he could please take a photo of her behind the steering wheel in my TF, which was "the most beautiful car they had ever seen". I agreed, provided I as well could take a picture of his lovely smiling Hijab wearing wife behind my Bluemels Brooklands wheel, which they agreed to while laughing and giggling the way only lovers can do.

Just wanted to share this episode with you, once again confirming that most strangers are "friends you havent yet met".

Sort of gives hope in this world of aggression and cultural conflict when an insignificant object of beauty (an MG) instantly breaks the ice.

" MG - buy the best and cry only once?"
