| Not relative to Burlen new stuff, but relative to the title "SU injection?" When the very first high performance Italian cars in the early to mid 60's came out fuel injected, they were SU Fuel Injection, wrapped in whatever wrapping. SU fuel injection patents predate German WW2 era fuel injection. |

| FI takes a LOT more 'stuff' than just a carb swap. This will be a multi thousand dollar refit kit requiring a computer, ignition, fuel pump, O2 sensors...... Given the problems my buddies and I have fitting FI units on crate GM 350's and getting them to run correctly, each having been on the market for decades BTW.... no thanks. |

| I totally concur with M Andrus. There are so many mods that need to be made to the car, which cannot be disguised, why try to hide the injectors in a fake SU carb? Why can crate engines can be fitted to a muscle car and the value goes up but obvious upgrades to an old MG are frowned upon. I have fitted a number of mods to my TF but have always attempted to do a good engineering job and am proud to display my work. Jan T  |

| Such systems already exist for SU carbs (without Burlen). About £1500 for the kit for one H4 carb with all the sensors and ECU I believe. Dave H |
