MG TD TF 1500 - So long and thank you!
After five years of owning my TF 1500 HDC46/7481 /XPEG 1292, I am moving on. I have been considering this for some time, and put an ad up on Norways biggest website for 2.hand everything. I had not expected much interest in my old T, but was overwhelmed by the response, and within 24 hours she was gone, and at a decent price. I picked up a 1964 mgb roadster last night, BRG, and absolutely stunning inside, outside and under. The car came from Texas in 2009. Restored in full rotisserie mode by a skilled car mechanic that had planned to enjoy his B, but sadly passed away last autumn after 200 miles of pleasure in his freshly restored roadster. His widow sold it to me. I wish to thank everyone on this list for their patience, their skills and knowledge, and kindness that has enabled an ignorant hobby mechanic like me to develop, improve and enjoy my T/type. But alas, now it is exit hard core sports car driving and getting used to the soft, plush and heavy MGB.... I will now move on to the B site, and probably meet quite a few of you there! Kind regards and many thanks from Jan in Oslo, Norway. |

Good luck with your B, Jan! May it bring you much happiness and lovely drives, and may you drink a toast each year to that old gentleman who restored it. |

Jan, check in every now and then just for old time's sake. I've enjoyed your posts. Post one of the B even though this is a T forum. Jud |

Everybody on this side of the pond, I will be keeping an eye on Jan since I also have a MGB (1967) and will let everyone know how he is doing. Jan, welcome to the newer (slightly) side of MGs. They are still a lot of fun, but have a few more creature comforts. Cheers - Dave |
