MG TD TF 1500 - Pre56 Rally New Zealand
My 51 TD and 54 TF1250 at the Pre56 MG Rally in Palmerston North, New Zealand. 600km (375m) each way, and four days of fun. Cars ran flawlessly 100-120 km/hr (63- 75mph), unfortunately lots of road works and broke one headlight.

Nice Bernie! The T type driving season is just starting for me! I finally have the tuning dialed in after the cylinder head work was done. Len ![]() ![]() |

One of these days I'm planning to enter that event. I have friends who do it each year. |

Or better yet, a Blue Ridge Parkway/Skyland Drive Mille. Jud '53TD Foothills British Car Club (look it up) |

There already is a California Mille. https://californiamille.com/ I don't usually do these type of drives though, since you're just paying to drive public roads. I paid to enter a charity event last year and ended up driving a bunch of the same roads I commute on every day. It was really just for the donation of course... |

If you are in mid California to Sacramento the Ironstone Concours is fun to attend. Not so many MGs. But they do have a fun driving event around to Sierra Foothills/Mountains the day before the concours and attendees have nothing to do with the car show the next day.
https://ironstoneconcours.com/events/ Lots of the GoFs have tours/rally events too, that usually take you on rarely traveled routes. This years GoF West was all over the California gold discovery areas. And of course other british events have these driving events too. Not mulit-day of course but still fun. https://www.gofwest.org/page19.html |
