MG TD TF 1500 - One more time

I thank all those responded to my question as to the type of distributor I have in this 54 TF. THe pics have not been very good. I have tried one more time. If this pic is any better maybe it will answer my question.

Thanks
Bud W

Hi Bud,

That looks like a "High Lift" type to me... Compare it to the images of the three types that I have attached andf it seems to match up with the position of the "notch" relative to the high point of the cam for the "High Lift" type...

Cheers,

Hi-Lift would be my best guess also!
Make sure you order the correct Pertronic's for "Poss or Negg" ground for your car ...or you will have $100 worth of "toast"!

from the position of the rotor notch it can only be high lift or assymetric. use this link and scroll down to view the WSM drawing. regards, tom

Thanks for all the help in determining the type of distrubtor. Maybe I can get the pertronix before good driving weather.
