MG TD TF 1500 - Is this right? EBay

Hello,
I am normally on the MGB section, but had a TD question on an EBay auction. The seller says this car has an original interior, but the seat doesn't look original to my untrained eye. I posted an image.

That car is not as original. The seats are wrong. The speedo-tach and a black faced temp gauge are not right. The entire car looks like an atttempt to put together various pieces to create a car.
I would be seriously considering a total examination in person prior to bidding.

We chatted about this one before... about as unoriginal as they come (if original is as they came from the showroom)!
First of all, any interior/top/tonneau that is black is wrong.
Overchromed (i'm one to talk)...valve cover, headlight brackets,dash panel,etc.
What the heck is that spare tire cover/hubcap thingie?
Seats???
Gauges?
Extra warning light/switch/whatever?
Push button starter?

Would much rather trust someone who says "I'm not sure, but I'm told..........."

I see that he pulled the TD from the sale. His exagerated price was a warning to sensible buyers and they followed through.

If you look closely it looks like the seat is vinyl and that it is heat-sealed, a technology that wasn't in use in England in that time frame.

The dashboard and gauges aren't original either. The gauges don't even match by color ! I don't see a horn button either !

the Vin # is "12345678" ...so what is the matching engine number for that car?
