This is also one of my favorites. I have a framed copy on my den wall.

Gordon,
I can "see" why this is your favorite!
That must be the "protype" for the TD Model in the picture! Documented proof like this will certainly add to the worth of you car if you ever decide to list it on ebay! LMFAO!

It's amazing !
After fabricating his own steering wheels AND maintaining a beautiful MG TD, this man has still some spare time in which to rummage with Photoshop !!!
Great photo Gordon ! Indeed: the TD prototype...8^)

I would NOT be the least surprised to find that is a prototype Gordon behind the wheel (LHD, Ontario plates).

Looks like all the steering wheels are on the correct side. That fine specimen of a man in the lead car makes me feel proud to be British!

I had to go back and see what everyone was talking about. Well played lad, well played!

Gordon,

I didn't see my car in the picture? I guess it was already on it's way to the boat when your "newer" car was leaving...

;^)

Thats what happens when you guys buy "older" cars.....!!!!!

Does anyone have this in a much larger file size suitable to make a large print? Or alternatively where can one order a copy?

John (Gordon),
I "see" the checkerboard grilled car ( :) ) as having the driver on the left and the front license plate as being too narrow for GB types.

I have the original scan at 39 Megs... do you have DSL?
gordon lawson - TD 27667

Gord, did you do that pic via antique pasting and then scanning?? I was impressed because I thought you did it solely with a graphics program and I was going to ask which program you used. I have photoshop Elements but I haven't figured out how to do something like that (at least not as clean as that).

Did it all in Photoshop... scanned the photo, then pasted in my shot...(took out the first car in line and replaced with "cloned" roadway and shadows... then pasted one of mine (and me) in which i had dropped the colour, then replaced the colour, then changed it to green/yellow/brighten/etc...then just adjust the size and paste.

Yep I'm on cable so fire away! Thanks.

Well done indeed. Brilliant!! You guys kill me. I needed this laugh this morning. Had to go back and look again myself. Too funny.
I will take a copy as I too have Cable. Without the checkerboard if you don't mind! :-]

Gordon, any objections to me stealing some photos from your site to put on mine? I'll give credit and a link of course.
Steve Simmons

Feel free...

Gordon,
I used the photo in our clubs newsletter, I'll email you a copy when it's done.
