MG MGF Technical - Tracking ... here we go again!

Now I have new tires and a correct ride height (around 345mm) I'm about to go for a 4 wheel tracking adjustment.
I'll probably ask for the famous 0°05' toe IN at the front.

But I'm wondering about camber on the rear wheels.
Spec say it should be between -1°58' and -0°58' and I have a datasheet from previous owner saying -2°42' on the right wheel while left wheel is at -1°24'
(Toe is set at 0°12' in for left and 0°15' in for right)

Should they be able to decrease this value within the spec?

I'm new to all this. Had new tyres all round last
month and was persuaded to have the full geometry test
for I would guess about 165 euros. Ended up left front
camber at 5dg and -1.7mm toe. Right front 5.13dg and - 2.1 toe. Left rear - 2.02 dg., and 2.2mm toe. right
rear -1.32 camber and 3.0mm toe.

Front total toe was -3.7mm and "steer ahead was 0.01dg.
Rear was 5.1mm total toe and thrust angle was -0.02dg.

Now all this science does not mean a lot to me, other
than you do notice the difference, it was like driving a different more responsive car, cornered
better and felt more like a sports car than a lorry!

Hi Jerome,

The camber on the rear wheels isn't itself adjustable, although it does change fractionally during adjustment of the toe angle. So anything below the 368mm ride height and you'll have to accept an accompanying increase in the negative camber and yes in the fullness of time that will reflect in the wear pattern of the tyre, but I'd wait and see what the 'after' camber reading is before reaching for the cheque book and ordering the lower suspension arms that Mike Satur sells...

I'm back from tracking
Car is now set up with 04' toe in at the front and 013' toe in at the rear. The steering wheel is now perfectly aligned and the car feels better.

BUT

There is a huge difference between left and right camber at the rear:
-116' on left hand wheel which is OK
-224' on right hand wheel which I can't explain

Any reason for such a value?
