MG MGF Technical - TF135 Panel air filters
Hi everyone - I need to replace the air filter element and was thinking of using a "performance" panel one but not many seem listed for TFs. Any suggestions or don't bother because the original ones are pretty efficient already? Ta. |

IIRC the 135 and 160 air boxes are the same, in which case there are a number of "performance" or "free flow" panels available. Green (sold as MG Sport and Racing X-power OEM upgade, but avaible direct from Green part no P950375) K&N (http://www.filterpower.co.uk) ITG Pipercross (MS and PtP sell them) Very modest power gains and a minor change in engine note (some people say) plus a slightly smoother power curve. I noticed the last one, but frankly none of the rest. That said, it works well and is washable so saves on landfill each year lol |

By the way, there are plenty of places to buy the panels other than those I listed. I justgave a starting point for information (not necessarily the cheapest place to buy) |

Cheers, I'll have a look at those. :D |
