MG MGF Technical - TF third bleeding nipple

Being encouraged by several discussions on this BBS and also by a recent lecture from our dutch MG friend Kasper van Mierlo, I no longer postponed: bought a coolant level sensor kit (B&G) and installed it today in my TF135. Installation is pretty straight forward and now I have the ease-of-mind-two-ok-peeps when the engine starts. Feels good and safe.
I also did the bleeding and have a question about the hidden number three. It is a bolt with no special rubber/plastic sealing ring. After the bolt was out, still nothing happened. I looked into the hole and down there was something green. Pushed it carefully with a small screwdriver and than the bleeding started. Is this how this particular bleeding bolt works?
I made a testride with no sound deadening material and no engine covering plate in there. Pretty noisy but most surprising was that the sound is the same as from my 1951 MG TD.
Greetings, Huib

Water surface tension perhaps stopping the coolant flowing. There isn't a valve, so no, you shouldn't need to poke at it with a screw driver. But job done!

The B&G coolant alarm is one of those really really good product innovations. Everyone should have one.
