MG MGF Technical - Rolling road day - Emerald in June

Hi Folks,

If you all recall, we were discussing Rolling Road days just before Christmas - so it is about time I got on the phone and booked a session for us at Emerald.

Unfortunately for us, Emerald have changed their booking policy - they now run only one shoot out per month - and the earliest they can fit us in is JUNE!

I've pencilled in the 4th (a Sunday), but ultimately, it could be any Sunday in the month at this stage.

From the interested parties from the last thread, how many are still keen on coming along?

1. Rob Bell - MGF 1.8i with ported TF135 head, TF135 cams, Powerspeed 4-2-1 manifold and Mike Satur Imola exhaust. Enclosed K&N filter.
2. Dave Livingstone - MGF VVC DVA ported head, FSE fuel pressure regulator, Powerspeed 4-2-1 manifold, sports cat and back box. ITG Maxogen filter.
3. Roger Parker - not sure what Rog will bring along yet... ;o)
4. Stu Dickens - MGF VVC with ported head, Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold. Maxogen filter
5. Steve Ratledge - MGF 1.8i with Race Speed RS-140/150 ported head, 633 cams, FSE fuel pressure regulator, Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold, Miltek Supersports back box. Enclosed K&N
6. Steve White - TF160 with PTP 210 EFI ECU and MTBs), Exige airbox, Janspeed 4-2-1, decat, TT silencer.
7. Fiona - MGF VVC, K&N filter (not enclosed), Trev Taylor Xtreme MarkII exhaust
8. Kris - Trophy 160 - Milltek SP exhaust, K&N semi enclosed.
9. Tim Woolcott - Caterham 7 (Tigger Orange!) - standard head, 633 cams, 4-2-1 manifold and straight-through exhaust
10. Mike Hankin - MGF 1.8, top secret filter arrangement
11. Marc Hanson - MGF VVC, 52mm TB, Motobuild "rice cooker" enclosed K&N filter, Janspeed 4 2 1 manifold, Miltek SP back box.
12. Nik - MGF VVC, DVA K13 head, Emerald ECU, 4-2-1 manifold and a lamda sensor that works..
Rob Bell

Actually that couldn't have worked out better for me as my mod plans have been delayed a bit. Had it been earlier in the year as originally planned then it would have meant a base pre-mod run for me.
So keep me on the interested list :D
Steve White

Still up for that.....
Car as the list but 1.8i not VVC
Nik

Thanks chaps :o)

Steve Ratledge

Hi Rob
How many of you can go ? count me in if you are looking to make up numbers.I would like to come along just to learn more about the process.

Have just started to modify my F so would like to have a sort of base figure to work from!!!

I have a 1.8i and just fitted K+N and 52mm TB so already started on the DARK side!!!!

JR LEE

Rob

Are race prepared cars able to take part - engine is basically stock VVC Trophy on MEMS2
Derrick Rowe

We've got no problem with numbers - up to about 20 if I recall correctly. All I need do is get in contact with the chaps at Emerald a little closer to the time with more accurate numbers :o)

Derrick - no problem at all with a race car :o)
Rob Bell

Rob, should be fine for me assuming my wife lets me out...
m hanson

LOL - Okay Marc, will keep you posted :o)

BTW are you sprinting this year?
