MG MGF Technical - K&N Induction Tube Bracket or alternatives to standard ties

I know this might have been covered in a previous thread, but wasn't able to find it in the archives.

I've recently had lowering knuckles installed and my F was set at a low 330. Fortunately, Tokyo is not a minefield of speed bumps, but there are still plenty of situations for the K&N induction tubes to catch (car parks and interesting Japanese inventions such as vertical parking lots where you roll your car onto a ferris wheel like contraption).

I recall there was a chap who makes a bracket for the tubes, but are there alternative locations for the induction tubes to increase the ground clearance (from the standard recommended K&N instructions)? Has anyone tried different locations down below? (I know people have looked into actually using the side air intakes, but I recall that it was deemed insufficient airflow actually passes through there)

I would buy that bracket in a second, but since I'm in Japan, not sure if that fellow would ship overseas.

Thanks,

Mike

PS Car back in the garage this morning as right rear height has now dropped to below 310!!! Can hear the tire scraping going over bumps.

Hi Mike

I sell these brackets for £7.50 plus postage but have yet to send one as far as Japan.
I can look into the cost but the only draw back is that I would need a cheque in pounds as I am not a trader and therefore cannot accept VISA.

For more info look at http://www.crosswinds.net/members/~mgfgallery/bracket/bracket.htm
