MG MGF Technical - Good Combination?

Hi everyone.

After reading all your comments about performance enhancements I have taken the plunge and ordered a K&N Induction Kit for my bog standard 1996 MGF 1.8.

I am also thinking seriously about replacing the rather old standard exhaust with a Mike Satur Daytona system (back box and flexi-pipe section).

Is this a good combination? Will fitting these two performance enhancements place any additional strains on the car that I should be aware about?

Grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Yes.

The K+N 57i and the MS Daytona were the best performing items when we rolling road tested them a few years back.

There is no real perfomance advantage in changing the flexy section (unless your current one is knackered that is).
