MG MGF Technical - bleeding brakes

hi i just bought a set of ap calipers for my 98 v v c can i use the bolt for the flexi brake pipe going into the old caliper on the new one . and i have noticed there are two bleed nipples on them do i bleed the inner or outer ones first? thanks richard

Hi Richard,

IIRC I had to machine the banjo bolt from the standard caliper down a few mm, but that may have been more to do with fitting braided hoses at the same time, due to the slimmer union fitting.

You bleed the outer one of the driver's side first, then the inner, then the same for the passenger side, i.e. start with the furthest from the master cylinder and finish with the closest.

You're going to love the stopping power ;o)
