MG MGF Technical - Another happy K+N owner
Just visited the MG Owners club and fitted a K+N to my mate Martin's F in the car park! (with permission of course!) ;-) Of course he loves it already! SF |

It is not essential to fit a K&N kit whilst parked up in a carpark in Essex... but a surprising number have been done this way! ;o) LOL |

Rob You can even do it in a car park in Camridgeshire:-) Ted |

Ted The confusion is easy - you said to me once that many MGF owners don't read this BBS and I guess that many, like Rob, don't know where their club HQ is :-) |

D'oh! Well, my K&N was fitted in an Essex car park anyway! I know where the MGCC HQ is - where it should be - in Abingdon! ;o) ;o) |

Who you callin' a retard? ;-) Just to round off the day's events, met Martin at the MGOC HQ in Swavesey (Cambridgeshire!) bought a new cap and a rather nice 'MG Parking Only' sign which is now gracing the wall of my garage... Martin brought the K+N 57i with him (i brought the spare cable ties - can you tell i've done this before?) and we fitted it in the HQ car park! Incedentally he has recently bought one of the only SP hardtops ever made from B+G (the one with the angular rain dispersal channels). This is the first time i have seen one up close and in the flesh it doesn't look too bad, also has a FULL headlining (ie including the B posts and around the rear screen) - very nice, especially as he has a grey Heritage leather trim to match. After fitment we went for a burn to Newmarket along some country lanes and en route we stopped to watch some motorcycle scrambling at a circuit near by. A nice way to spend a gloriously sunny day. :-) SF |
