MG MGB Technical - SU Conversion Air Filters
Can anyone give me info about which air filters I can use on a '75 B converted to twin SU's? This car has the brake booster which leaves almost no room for an air cleaner on the rear carb. Thanks in advance. JR |

You should be able to use the standard " saucepan " type filters. My car has these and they clear the brake servo alright Harry |

You can use either the Stellings and Hellings type filters, Moss # 223-200 Or the K&N conical tapered filters Moss # 222-985. Either will fit, either without problems or some minor tweaking. Pete |

JR, The only thing you might have to do is switch to other needles for the SU's. These "open" filters make your mixture weaker and changing to a richer needle make it easier to tune. succes Carl |
