MG MGB Technical - Stalling when blinkers don't work?
It started two days ago that when the blinkers won't work my 74 stalls out after about 2 miles, let it sit and the car will start and run for a short distance. I fiddled with the things in the loom this afternoon and the blinkers started working and it didn't stall. BTW the emergency flashers have worked even when the blinkers won't. I was wondering if the blinkers and fuel pump may be on the same circut or if there is a deeper darker problem. Thanks.. |

check a wiring diagram. The circuit that powers the blinkers and gauges branches off from the white circuit that also powers the fuel pump and ignition circuitry. You may have a loose connecton in that group. I'm having siilar problem in that my tach, gauges, and blinkers all quit but the engine continues to run. |

William, I have experienced that same problem. They are all tied to the same relay in the engine compartment. |
