MG MGB Technical - Radiator shop in St. louis

Does anyone (John? Robert?) know a good one? I have a radiator that needs recoring ASAP. :-)
The Wiz

Yep - pinhole! You guys are brilliant!

:-)

BTW - the radiator is original to the car, never recored or replaced, so I guess 25 years is pretty good, huh?

The Miz

Try posting on the midget page, Gryf in St. Charles might know of a good shop.

There were a few threads about more efficient cores a few months back. You may want to check it out.

I did chuck the original (duh!) and bought a new. Had to have it re-cored within 2 years. New sucks, original is kewwl!

You could box it up and send it to the boys at U.S. Radiator and have them re-core it with their top grade core. For the real solution, have changed it to a triple pass system, that cured the overheating problems in my race B.

I live in West St. Louis county and recently took the radiator for my 72B to West End Radiator on Manchester Rd in Ellisville. I have been using them for 25 years with no problems. They rodded mine and put a drain in recently. I'm tired of the mess when working on the cooling system.

I'm sure that other members of the St. Louis MG club have their own sources near their homes. If you live in west county and want directions, contact me.
