MG MGB Technical - New Fuel Pump?

My 77MGB failed to start a couple of times this summer. The fuel pump seems to be the problem. I tapped the pump with the key on and it started to pump again. Any advice on what fuel pump I should install? Original or aftermarket?

there has been a recent thread about what type of fuel pump is the most useful. The outcome was really down to your choice. If you want to know more my I suggest you look in the archives.
