MG MGB Technical - Headlight Switch

On the back of my dash headlight switch there is a connection prong on the left side. There are two prongs on the right side. Where should the connection on the left side be connected to? Thanks!

Yes that's correct and the diag will give the switch pin numbers as well. Have a look at the back of the switch and you will see that they are numbered.
