MG MGB Technical - Brake Cable

Hi Folks:

Has anyone removed the entire brake cable assembly from an early MGB. I know all the attachment points, except " what type of clamp holds the cable above the triangle plate between the battery boxes? " I know about the clamp that attaches to the transmission tunnel, and the lower battery box clamp and ferrel, and the banjo axle clamps. Anyone have experience ???

Thanks: Rich Boris 67 mgb roadster.

Clausager has the photo you want in the Exhaust System section. There is no clamp between the battery boxes, the cable exits between them above the plate (sort of triangular with the pointy top chopped off, with curved indentations) that bridges the bottom of the tunnel at the back of the floor pans immediately in front of the battery cradles. From there it loops round to a clamp on the outer edge of the right-hand cradle by the fuel pump, and from there to another on the axle by the rear brake flex hose and splitter.
