MG MGB Technical - 73 B abandoned project

I have installed most of the plumbing on the "B" and now wish to install the new wiring harness. Can someone enlighten me on the route the loom takes from th engine compartment to the boot, (trunk)? Also, does the boot mounted fume seperator just screw to the sheet metal floor? Thanks, Tom

Anyway you want really - some people run it inside the car to protect it. Now I know mine better, having installed it from scratch, I would consider that next time.

But mine went from the connection cluster (UK RH side steering cone area) straight down under steering column, over the chassis rail and fit neatly under a small lip as it begins its journey back under the car, then straight back - dog legs through the chassis rail, sharing mounting points/grommets with brake lines, then up to fuel pump and into hole high in the boot (trunk). Make sure you slip any grommets on first ESPECIALLY the big fat pair that go either side of the chassis crossmember rail.

Apparently I can upload a photo!

Full credit to who ever owns this car, very beautiful and neat job - it helped me a lot but I can't thank them cos I don't know who they are! If they see it here they can say hello and take the credit.
