MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - SD1 Halfshafts

I have found that the standard SD1 halfshafts have twisted. Has anyone found a way of uprating the sd1 halfshafts or found an alternative whilst keeping the SD1 Axel. In the UK I am finding that a number of companies can manufacture a halfshaft but not the SD1 flange, so I am currently researching US market.

Any help or ideas appreciated.

Paul,

midget halfshafts are successfully improved by heat treating them - try yellow pages.

I have got an unmodified SD1 axle that I will probably never use, let me know if you interested in it.
