Hi Chevy , I installed a 150+hp Ford 1600cc 4cyl in a midget many years ago. It was so nose heavy the rear end wouldn't stay put during a normal take off. In order to get the engine center enough to balance it out, it needs to sit in your lap. Something to think about. Kelly |

Try this, and remember, the small block Chevy is even bigger & heavier than the Rover. http://www.mgcars.org.uk/midgetspriteclub/surrey/mightymidget.html More practical is here:- http://hometown.aol.com/ursnoozin/myhomepage/auto.html For general info, try:- http://members.aol.com/danmas/index.htm#links http://members.aol.com/danmas/examples.htm#mg http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Track/5864/mg12a.html http://engineswaps.com/ http://www.minormania.com/ http://www.angelfire.com/ar/dw42/engfyi.htm |
