MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - K&N / Mr. Gasket Replacement

Does anyone know the K&N filter P.N that will replace the Mr. Gasket 2” X 14” air filter element?

Summitracing.com has their own replacement cotton gauze element, 14 X 2, P/N SUM-239142.

Go to http://knfilters.com/universal/univsearchin.htm and find an element, but I don't think there is one that is 2 in. high.

Last winter I was trying to fit a 2 1/4" K&N filter in my MGB Rover 3.5 conversion. I just couldn't get it to fit. I contacted K&N and they do not make a 2” filter. They will make one for you but it will cost you big time. If I remember correctly it was about 150.00cdn
