MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - how to clean K&N Air filters??

I bought factory v8 with K&N filters already fitted, I have already cleaned them by using petrol, but instructions on filter say oil before use, how??

Check you loacl auto parts dealer that carries K&N they will have a filter cleaning/refreshening kit that has everything you need to clean and relube you filter.

it appears with normal road use they only require cleaning approx every 20/30000
