MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Fuel Injection - ticking noise
The beastie had a short on the headlight circuit so, I haven't yet managed to trace the noise from the fuel injection. This is just to tell the kind folk who offered advice that I will keep them posted. The sound definitely comes from the fuel lineS - perhaps more like a rapid stuttering - still suspect the relief valve. car goes like sh*t off a shovel just the same. Roger |

The noise comes from the fuel rail and I guess is the normal operation of the pressure relief valve - it reverberates in the cabin on account of the new (harder) fuel lines and the way they are attached to the fire screen. I have added some flexible mounting so its barely audible. Roger |
