MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - Factory V8 Carbs overhaul

I have a factory BV8 which I think needs an overhaul of the SU carbs. I shall take them off the car this weekend, and am wandering where the best place is to have them renovated? Should I try my local mg specialist - who doesn't do many, if any V8's - or do I send them away to a specialist, and if the latter who?

they sold me NEW carburettors for my factory V8 a few years ago.

They may offer a reconditioning service, and certainly sell service kits.

If you want someone to do the rebuild I have heard Andrew Turner offers a good service, but cannot vouch for him:-
