MG MGB GT V8 Factory Originals Technical - 4.0 cam selection
I am starting the buildup of a 4.0 block as a replacement for the current engine in my mgb roadster. The engine will be mostly stock, possibly a bit more compression, & will be using Rover fuel injection rather than a carb. My question is the best cam to use, something appropriate for a 2600 lb car rather than a Range Rover. I am not looking for max power, rather good milage, reasonable performance. More interested in mid range performance, 1500-5500 rpm. Suggestions? |

Real Steel in the UK sells a cam called Stumppuller. Does exactly what you describe: mid-range power. Frank |
