I like the name "British Conversion Group". As I recall a few years back it was stated, if you host you get to name it anything you want. Will we be able to get hat's with that name printed on them. Denny

DBW

We've got our reservations.

You are correct Pete. My proof reader fell asleep. The correct dates are: MGV8 2008 July 13-16. Road America/Brian Redman July 17-20. Anyone who already made reservations or intend to, please note correct dates.

Thanks Pete,
Paul Schils

It could be a really busy summer for Frank the modified midget. First the Spridget 50th anniversary party in June then the V8 bash in July. Don't know if I can make both, but it's tempting for sure.
Bill Young

I will make my RESSIES (Maloney's new word)
We call it BMC, British Modified Cars.
This years BMC feel apart, and only 4 cars will be attending the event at the Denish town of solvang.
We will do better next year.

I went to the Brian Redman vintage races at Road America last summer, and it was FANTASTIC. So I just wanted to encourage all of you to stick around at least one or two days for the vintage races. There is a guy from Virginia (I think) named Les Gonda that races an mgb gt with a rover v8, and it's fun to see him dice it up with the porsches. There is an unbelievable variety of neat cars on track.

Also, like Paul said, make sure you reserve your hotel very early. We called in December and rooms for the july races were already almost non-existant for a 100 mile radius.
Ryan Reis

I made my reservations but probably should double check those dates. The lady I talked to was hard to understand and I'd hate to have a misunderstanding. :)

I have been trying to contact the hotel via email but have had no sucess.
I don't want to do a trans-atlantic phone call unless I have to!!!
Has anyone else gone the booking route via email?
Can you let me know the rate they will give us as I may have to book at the std rate if it is not too much more.
