MG MGA - Water Temp Capillary Route

What is the proper route for the water temperature capillary as it runs from the engine block back to the bulkhead? Clausager shows it running under the plugs but above the generator after which it seems to disappear (page 53). Is it held at any point with P clips or does it just float around?

As usual any help will be appreciated.

A clip is used at the water heater valve and lines runs under the plugs. A coil ( tube wraped into a coil) is used between the engine and the bulk head to allow for movement. It should enter on the passenger side of the car.

Thanks guys,

Barney: I'll take the original route, not because my car is even near concours, but because it seems right. Is the loop between the block and the heater shelf also 2" in diameter?

Yeah, 2' or 2-1/2". Just frap it around your fingers adn try to make it round to look nice.
