MG MGA - Stub Stacks

Hi to All,
Firstly,apologies for not keeping in contact but I have been a bit poorly as the result of falling down the inspection pit in my garage, a momentary lapse of concentration and down I went.Fortunately no bones broken but my right arm and shoulder had to be strapped up for some time.To aid recovery I have been away in sunny Cyprus for a few weeks.
After all this time,if the owners who ordered stacks (and havn't got fed up waiting),still want them, please email me as I have a number of them ready to post and am collecting more next week.

With the help of inputs on this forum I made stub stacks to fit inside the Volkes air filters: See here: http://tinyurl.com/6ec2owh

Steve Ash then found a local machine shop that could make them at a very competitive price. He then took orders from forum members at cost plus postage. He is doing a stirling job.

Hope you are ok now Steve. One of the 'pitfalls' of that type of inspection system!

Hi All,
Several buyers have asked if they can pay with Paypal.Uk sterling is ok as the charge is minimal from another Paypal a/c and 3.4% with a debit or credit card(I think) but abroad is rather more complicated.If anyone can decipher this lot, let me know.User Agreement For Paypal Services.
Section 3 and 8 also Schedule 1, Table Of Fees.
There seems to be a Transaction fee,Fixed Currency fee
,Cross Border Fee etc.These seem to vary depending on whether the sender is using a Paypal a/c or debit/credit card. HELP.!

Just fitted the stub stacks from Steve to my Mk2.I have replacement K&Ns with K&n cases and they fitted perfectly the car on an admittedly fairly short run does seem more lively and the tickover is smoother Many thanks Steve
