MG MGA - splined disc wheels

Hi All, Just spotted these wheels on ebay UK ( listing number 220457135980 ). They are 6 x 15 disc wheels to fit instead of wires - might be useful for racers - perhaps expensive at £195 each but have the look of the Dunlop TC wheels . Not seen them before - any one know if they are any good? - cheers Cam

Looks even more $$$ than you thought. 195 for bolt on 275 for splined. At current exchange rates that is $451.55 per splined wheel.

Hi Cam, these are the Realm engineering wheels I linked a couple of weeks ago.

I guess you get what you pay for, personally I thing they look fantastic (twin cam wheels only better!)

Wouldn't think you would be after expensive wheels, following the insurance thread!

Good point Neil could attract unwanted attention - I had missed your previous thread. Right RJ - splined ones are just silly money. I was thinking that they might have been an option to change over from wires and back again in winter driving - perhaps not looking at the price.

A slightly lower cost alternative Cam is the splined minilite style, Moss part GAC8255X or ebay listing number 380140036754. I quite liked the idea of these until I saw the "Dunlops".

That is a lot of money just to play Twin Cam wannabe.

Nothing wrong with 60 or 72 spoke Dunlops that I can see, or Daytons. Classic appearance, good strength
