MG MGA - Repro Master Cylinder

I see two repro units available for my MGA1500. One is Lucas and the other Lockheed. Any experience or comments re quality before I purchase one?

I understood that the standard MC for the 1500 was Lockheed. I was not aware that Lucas made an equivalent and, if so, that it was ever used on the MGA.

But I may be wrong!

Am I right in saying that the twin cam master cylinder was made by Girling and I think there is some connection between Girling & Lucas. Did Lucas buy out Girling? I would be surprised if Lucas (i.e. Joseph Lucas) have got involved in making repro. Lockheed cylinders Maybe it's a different Lucas. I always thought that J.Lucas only got involved in things electrical.
