MG MGA - rear lever arm shock drop links

Just a thought but would there be any advantage instead of using the standard type rubber bushed drop links, use a similar length link with sealed mechanical type bushes.
My front ARB from Holye on my MGA and the front ARB on my MGB from the MGOC both employ this type of link.
Has anyone tried to identify a suitable link from another vehicle and had fitted and can comment.

by "sealed mechanical joints" do you mean the spherical "rose-joints" that are often used for racing car steering and suspension?

The advantages of rose joints are that they transmit all of the steering "feel" through the steering wheel back to the driver, they are stronger and usually they are length adjustable.

None of these things are necessary on the shock absorber drop link and so you probably will not feel any noticeable difference apart from (even) more road noise and vibration being transmitted
through to the drivers seat.

But rose joints would do the job if you wanted to use them.

Thanks for response my last race car was fully rose jointed. I hopefully attach an image to detail the type of link that I mean.
This is very similar to that fitted to my MGB.
