MG MGA - Productive day
My turn signal delay function wasn't working so following the directions on Barney's site I took it apart to rebuild. The leather was shot so I replaced it, lubed it up, put it back together and, tah dah...it worked. In fact, it worked so well I decided to tackle the headlight dipper switch. The rivet had sheared so i couldn't dip the lights. Again, using Barney's site for guidance, I took it apart and cleaned it, drilled a hole and threaded it where the rivet used to be so I could use a screw. Put back together, just like new. Figure I saved $150 to spend on something else for the car. Thanks Barney! |
