MG MGA - Plug for Oil filter boss

Good afternoon,
I need the brass plug for this oil gallery, called "Plug, Oil filter boss" in Moss material. pt. # 328-200.

The hole it goes into is on the right side of the engine, close to the front plate, as illus. in the sideways photo above (!)

This plug is no longer available. If anyone has one to sell I will be grateful; likewise, if anyone has the correct dimensions I could use to have one made, I would be equally appreciative.

Thanks for any help you can offer,
J. Bissett

Looks like they have one here https://www.englishparts.com/products/mg/1958/MGA/PLUG--chain-tensioner-oil-feed/7383/328-200.html

It suggests the part number is now 11G14

If you're going to make one--
.344" dia--.312" long

but
I've found that anything a bit weird like this I have trouble finding ,the tractor people have them--
John Charnley Tractors is my first place to go to---never fails and magic service----Ah well, here goes my secret supplier

just noticed you're USA so yeah englishparts.com
but notice the charnleys ad. has got the metric size for it there in the ad. if that helps

Thanks to both of you, Graham and William. I did try englishparts.com and actually placed the order but then they had to cancel and refund.

But William, I think the nearby machine shop could handle this.

Many thanks again to both of you,
Jack

I don’t know what the postage would be but this tractor company in the U.K. say they have it in stock

Thanks again Graham. With the dimensions from William and Charnleys, I am having one made locally. Big surprise, as we are in a very small town and I did not think the capability to machine one would be available.

Thanks again, and happy driving.

Had my Mini (1000, 1970) out for a drive this morning. It's such a rare sight around here that it is always fun to see the reactions of folks.

Best,

I like a good mini, good little cars, I had a 68 Mini Deluxe auto for a while--interesting car
Here's a pic of the Mini K badge--------(from carsales)

John,
Where do you live in Virginia? I’m about 30 miles west of Richmond.

William,
We love our Mini, had it since 1999. It has a fresh engine and gearbox and looks pretty good. My first car was an MG 1100 so you can see I've been bitten.

JL, we're in Lexington, so a little farther west than you. I had to work with the NAPA machine shop on Chamberlayne in Richmond because there is no one closer who can do crankshaft work, etc. Thanks to the nice folks in the Richmond area for the recommendation.

Y'all take care, and thanks for the conversation.

I'm asking another question - new thread - about piston rings for the MGA. I broke one, which is an expensive mistake!
