MG MGA - Paint stripper

Just stripped the inside of the boot lid using DOT4! It was quite rapid, doesn't evaporate, washes off with a hose and is quite price competitive with other strippers.
Having seen this, I may chose DOT5 for my brakes!

In spite of numerous posts advising to the contrary, I'll be putting DOT5 in my car soon for that exact reason!

I save bled out brake fluid for just this purpose. Does not work on everything, but often useful.

Look into DOT 5.1 at your local auto parts store. It will not raise paint and is compatible with older brake fluid & parts.
