MG MGA - Other Makes/Souces for 1622?

Looking for other sources of the B series 1622 block and head.

Any ideas?

The 1622 was used on many sedans and vans. Unfortunately, few of these were imported to the US. Here is a pdf that lists the vehicles which used the various BMC engines. http://www.mgcars.org.uk/mgccz/technic/codeseng.pdf

John, A good source that was brought over was the '50 - on Farina Magnettes. The only thing you have to do is machine a hole in the blank area on the block for the tach. drive. As far as I know the rest of the engine is identical.
