MG MGA - Oil Cooler

Guy's, i am nearing he end of my 58 frame off, My question is: Do you guy's see the need for the oil cooler for a Sunday driver? Another words, is it a given that my 1500 is going to run real hot in the summer?

Bill, I wouldn't think you would need an oil cooler, it won't help the engine temperature problems much anyway and you probably won't be getting the oil hot enough to need cooling. For a car that is going to get a lot of highway miles then an oil cooler might be a good bit of insurance along with a thermostat, but for the average Sunday afternoon cruise, not needed.
