MG MGA - MGB Pedal Box

Was getting ready to install the MGB non servo dual circuit brake set up in my MGA. Does anyone know if it fairly straight foward, or does it interfere with the firewall-bulkhead? Thanks Andrew

to find a master cylinder that does not require the bulk head to be cut, has been a dream for many years. It seems all dual cylinders are just not short enough or if they are, are the wrong diameter.
Our local race shop cut my brothers MKII when it was LHD to fit one, but then when we converted it to RHD we could not dring ourselves to cut open the other side.

Several racers have fitted tandem cylinders side by side. Here's one example:

If I was to try this again, I would make a new cage mounted further forwards to allow the MGB or other longer master cylinders to be fitted, as the pushrods could easily be shortened.

Barney may have some sugestions if you ask him:

I did it. Not much of a problem. be sure to use MGB pedals. I have over 18,000 miles on my car.It works great, wiper motor is a tight fit. I used all MGB brakes and suspension front and rear. Go to www.mbmgcc.org, click on Lyle Jacobson article to see photos. Bill is my son, look at his article too.
