MG MGA - MGA's Goodwood Revival

Who is going to the Revival at Goodwood this coming weekend?

Terry Drinkwater

I'll be there. Coming straight in from Gatwick Friday morning, so I will be a sight (not a good one)!
Chris Sloan

Terry, can't make it this year. Have a pint for me and let us know if the little Austin A35 puts on as good a show this year as it did last year.
Bill Young

will be driving down in my newly finished coupe from SE London, early start with minimal traffic hopefully, i just hope my eardrums hold out, very loud and fast!
Paul Hennessy

Bit late now, but I'll be there (Sat) tomorrow morning sharp in the "A" ESK718 in the pre '66 car park.

What a great weekend and great weather. Do any of you fellows from across the pond know anything about the light green MGA roadster 854 UXL parked next to the Vanwall exhibit in the pre-66 car park? That's the one with the Brooklands screens and a variety of race mods. Very nice looking car.

We had two MGA's racing at the Revival. MaBeL and 777 ENK. Driven by Rauno Aaltonen an Anthony Binnington respectively. Best laps were 1'43" and 1'44" respectively.
Unfortunately, while ENK had a respectable finish for a relatively standard car, MaBeL completed only 6 laps of 12 ~ engine problems.
It was great to see many of you guys there, from all over the World, it seems. I hope we were always able to chat but at times one gets a bit involved and stretched so sorry if we weren't always as amicable as we should be.
I never made it to the pre-66 enclosure so I hope you had agood time, just as we did, engine excepted.

Steve,

Didn't have a chance to meet you, but I took a very close look at both MaBeL and 777 ENK (and took quite a few photos, as well). Great to see these cars on the track and sorry about MaBeL's engine troubles.

Do let us know if 777 ENK goes on the market, as you noted she might in your other post.

Best,

Chris
