MG MGA - MGA to 18v Backplate with Oil Seal

Hello,

When I here references to Early MGA gearboxes having the lower Position for the starter motor.

Does the twin cam gearbox also have this lower Position of starter motor ?

The reason I ask, is that I'm trying to fit an 18v engine with a MKi MGB backplate to my TC gearbox and the starter does not line up.
It only seems to be a couple of mm out where the bolts go through, but obviously that's enough so nothing fits.

I take it the only solution to this is to have a seal fitted to the backplate that I already have from a 1500 Motor.

So my second question.
Does anyone know here I can get this done in the UK?

It would have been so much simpler to fit the TC engine,,, if they
were in the same country that is !!!!
