MG MGA - HIF4 Conversion

I'm fitting a pair of HIF4 carbs to the 18V engine in the MGA and have a couple of questions about connections. Right now, I'm running HS-4s, but the throttle shafts need rebushing, and I have a pair of rebuilt HIF-4s standing by.

I've worked out the fuel connections, easy enough. The vapor hose, coming from the front tappet cover, is split to the front and rear carb intakes.
There are take-offs on both carbs that go to an absorption canister (?). What do I do with these, since there is no absorption canister? Plug them?
Are there any drawbacks or other problems for this conversion that I haven't yet encountered?

I appreciate any help. thanks,
Tyler

Connect hoses to the vents, and drop them down between frame and inner fender. Suggest leave them as separate hoses, not T'd together, so if one carb overflows you can see which one is dribbling.
