MG MGA - Exhaust manifold
I am replacing the exhaust manifold on a 1957 MGA. I think the torque is 25ft/pounds but I have not been able to get the sequence. Does it matter? I was going to start and the middle and work out towards the ends. Does that seem logical? |

Doesn't matter much, only six studs, just tighten them all down evenly a little bit at a time. |

Okay. Thanks |

And remember that the bracket for the vacuum pipe/gas trap fits under the rear manifold nut. Peter. |

Second stud from the back for originality, but you have to be a it of a masochist to do it as original. |
