MG MGA - Damaged soft top window
Hi folks. The large window in the rear of my soft top is damaged, and needs to be replace The window appears to be heat sealed in place. I already have replacement vinyl material to install. Has anyone replaced a rear window, and if so, how? Does anyone know a good shop in the Kitchener Ontario Canada or surrounding area, that can do this job at reasonable cost?

Glenn, I had the window on my midget top replaced by a local auto upholstery shop. They simply stiched the new clear plastic material in. Of course the stiched area wasn't totally waterproof, but a little black RTV applied around the thread fixed most of that. It did't cost too much and saved the top for another year until I could buy a new one.

Hi Bill. Thanks. Took your advice, and found a local shop that will sew in a new window. Cheers! Glenn
