MG MGA - Clutch Failure - Engine now out

Bit the bullet and decided to remove engine to inspect clutch. Many thanks for advise and Jeff Schultz for procedure to remove engine. Works well. Some slop in thrust bearing release arm pivot bolt and bearing. Will replace all clutch parts.
Just wonder if there is anything else I could inspect whilst the engine is out. The oil pressure is good so I am not getting into stripping the engine.
I have read the rear oil seal is worth replacing. I also suspect there is a slight rumble in the water pump. With the fan on I can rock it from side to side very slightly.

Unless you have a modified rear to the crank, there is no oil seal there....

If replacing clutch parts, go for a B clutch as they are much longer lasting. You need a B gbx front cover and fork, but tehse are available cheaply used. See the advertusers on this board.

The bushing is replaceable and available.
The shouldered bolt is also available.
The slave cylinder end of the fork can be repaired if the 2 holes are oblong by welding up and re drilling them.
The picture shows a worn bolt and a new one. It also shows a fork and a bushing.
