MG MGA - close ratio gearbox

Hi,

I just have s quick question. Does anyone know how much close-ratio gearbox costs these days?

Hi Darian,
In paid about 2K for my Jack Knight Gear Box about ten years ago.You can get a Sierra 5 Speed in close Ratio as well. The 5 Speed conversion seems to be a common conversion.

The company Brown and Gammons in England has close ratio, helical cut, gear sets for the MGA gearbox for 775 English Pounds.
These gears can be fitted to any MGA gearbox casing, or MGB with non-synchro first gear.
On the website select MGA the search close ratio.
